He is also predeceased by his in-laws, Margaret L. and Arthur G. Riddell Jr. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and retired as a Senior Chief after 20+ years. He later went on to be a contractor for the US Government and a business owner.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Elizabeth Ray; sons, Justin K. Ray (Kristin) and Kellan A. Ray (Kat); grandchildren, Trever, Archer, Grayson, and Maddox; special niece, Kendra Gondringer; sisters, Debbie Wessel (Milt) and Candi Winer (Steve); brothers, Tom Ray (Sue) and Rick Ray.
Bill's graveside service will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
