Joe Willie McDonald, age 87, of Byron, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. Funeral services for Joe W. McDonald will be conducted through Zoom Meeting.

A native of Pineville, MS, Joe was born on January 15, 1935 to the late Alex McDonald and the late Charlotte Busby McDonald. In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin McDonald, by a sister, Mary Powe, and by two brothers, Robert George McDonald and Alex McDonald, Jr.. Joe was a veteran, having retired from the U.S. Air Force, after over 20 years of service. He was also a Minister within the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness for 36 years.

Joe is survived by his wife, Eileen Adrian Moten McDonald ; his children, Diane Lomax, Joann Cleveland, Glenn (& Pamela) McDonald, Ken McDonald, Natalie McDonald, Melessa (& Keith) Walker, Leslie D. (& Quinton) Smith, and Aaron J. McDonald ; by his siblings, Ida Velma (& Rufus) Shaw, Keary Lee (& Willie Mae) McDonald, Clifford (& Annie F.) McDonald, Mabel (& MacArthur) Dawkins, Ruthie B. (& Walter) Moss, Reather Daniels, and Sarah Jane (& Mayro) Mayfield ; as well as numerous other relatives.
