MR. AND MRS. HAUSWIRTH KILLED IN AUTO ACCIDENT
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hauswirth of Havelock were killed in an auto wreck about three miles east of Albert City Tuesday forenoon. They were on their way to Cherokee to visit and met one of the Thieman's cars with a trailer driven by Leonard Danielson. The cars met head on. There are conflicting stories as to how the accident happened.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Hauswirth after being pulled from the wreckage were rushed to Albert City for medical aid but both were dead when they arrived in town. Mr. Daniels was so seriously injured that he was taken to the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge.
Mr. Hauswirth was 46 years old and a son of Fred Hauswirth of Havelock. Mrs. Hauswirth was 41 years old and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hobson, early residents of Sherman township. They leave two daughters, Irma who graduated from the Havelock high school this year and Alice a younger daughter.
The funeral will be held tomorrow (Friday) at Pocahontas.
