Musco Pickett Maxwell is the son of George Washington Maxwell and Elizabeth Estes.

Musco Pickett Maxwell, born in Georgia, he was the FIRST Baptist Minister in the founding of the Mountain View Baptist Church in 1913, and was also a minister at the Little Vine Primative Baptist Church. He played Bass Violin and sang, and was the dutiful son who took care of his mother who was a widow and had gone blind in her last years.

He married Cynthia Malissa Lewis on January 11, 1880 and together they had 6 children. After the birth of the last child, Cynthia died 5 days later on November 11, 1895.

Their children are:
Charles Leon, James Arthur, Rosetta Caroline, William Foster, Larkin Walker, and Lillie Maybell.

On May 22, 1896 he married Annie Lou Crider, and they had 7 children who are:

Effie Estell, Tissia Elizabeth, Bertha Lea, Robert Edmond, Dora Ethel, Delphia Louise, and Rev. Clifton Musco.
