Stephen Clay Morris, age 52, of Leesburg, TX; passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Honey Grove, TX. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Westside Baptist Church in Honey Grove, TX. Rev. Terry Paul Cunningham will officiate.
Stephen Clay Morris was born in Wylie, TX on July 4, 1968 to Hoarce Edward and Gladys Marie (Derrick) Morris. He worked for an Aircraft Manufacturing Company and is a member of the Dial Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed hunting with his family and being outdoors.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Joanna Caraway Morris of the home; stepsons, Aaron Caraway and Brandon Spann; father and step mother, Ed Morris and wife Elaine of Dial, TX; sister, Jeannie Cunningham and husband Terry of Honey Grove, TX; sister, Pam Carter and husband Quinn of Dial, TX; brother, Chris Morris and wife Jeanne of Roscoe, Il; brother, Jonny Morris of Dial, TX; brother, Brian Morris and wife Debbie of Charlotte, NC; in-laws, Robert Caraway and wife Joy and family; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Marie Morris and sister, Deanna Morris.
