After marriage they farmed near Clear Lake for 1 year then they farmed north of Canby from 1947-1985. The moved into Gary 12/02/85. Member of 1st Ev. Lutheran where he served a treasurer, member of Gary Legion and Canby V.F.W. served on rural school board.
