He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Patricia Boyd Patterson, and brother, Daniel Patterson of Crandall, who loved him dearly, as well as the love of his life, wife, Lauren Holsomback Patterson, and beloved children, Hannah, Paislee, and Harbor Patterson of Chatsworth. Many other special family members and friends also remain.
Nathan was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Rev. Willie and Minnie Patterson of Copperhill, TN, maternal grandparents, Charles Vick and Sarah Jane Boyd of Dalton, and his father-in-law, Rick Holsomback of Chatsworth.
Nathan was a 1998 graduate of Murray County High School. He was employed with CMC Logistics in Crandall as a truck driver.
Nathan loved his family dearly. His favorite way to spend his time was having fun with his wife and kids, and he was always plotting their next adventure. The more spontaneous the trip the better. He loved going places in his Jeep, 'Ole Red. Nathan enjoyed theme parks, and trying to talk his wife into riding roller coasters. He enjoyed making people laugh and was quite the cut-up. He never met a stranger.
Over the years, he coached his children and their friends in various rec sports and was their biggest fan. Nathan loved the Georgia Bulldogs and was thrilled to travel to Indianapolis with his daughter, Paislee, to watch them win the National Championship.
But most importantly, Nathan loved the Lord. This was evident in the way he lived his life – rarely complaining and always putting others first. He loved each day to the fullest. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Nathan will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, March 18, 2022, in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. John Bagley and Rev. Lamar Beason officiating. Interment will follow at Little Prospect Cemetery.
