Wade was a dreamer. He had so many goals and talents and loved people with all his heart. As a young man he enjoyed participating in rodeos, barrel racing and goat tying. Wade taught himself to play the guitar, anticipated spending time learning new tricks on his skateboard, was a collector of many things and loved cheering on his favorite sports teams the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. Wade was also an avid fisherman and hunter. He spent many days on the family farm in southern Missouri. Wade had a witty sense of humor and got a good laugh out of pulling pranks on his family often. His kind spirit will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends.
Wade is survived by his parents, Tracy Smith and Susan Walker (Terry); step-sisters, Lacy Walker and Libby Taube (Gabe); nephews, Skyler and Atticus; niece, Lilah; grandmother, Wanda Smith and his beloved furry companion, Boozer.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Trotta (Jean) and Vilas Smith.
A visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Tuesday, March 22 at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Funeral service will begin at 2pm with burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation in Wade's memory.
