On September 21st, 1965 in Willingboro, New Jersey: Maureen (Moore) Joy welcomed her first son Kenneth Michael. Maureen met and married Darrell Joy and together they raised their two sons Kenneth and Jason Joy in Avon, Indiana.
Ken loved playing sports, especially football and played all throughout high school at Avon High.
After high school and taking some years to find his chosen career path Ken settled on being a semi- truck driver, later on in life he became a Diesel Truck Technician.
Ken enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed cooking, camping and was a huge Alabama fan. Ken often had a house full of people and animals and loved every minute of it. He loved helping people and animals in any way that he could.
Life happened and Ken was preceded in death by his mother Maureen Joy and his brother Jason Joy.
His legacy of love continues with his father Darrell Joy; wife Stephanie Messer; son Joey Tudor; daughter Dallas (Marcus) Rhodes; grandchildren Cash and Willie Rhodes; As well a host of neices, nephews, family, friends and co-workers - many of whom called him dad, brother, papaw, or uncle.
