On Monday, March 14th, 2022, Lynda Richardson, loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 64. She went peacefully after an extended illness with her husband, Dan Richardson, by her side in the care of IU University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Lynda was born on December 22nd, 1957 in Quincy, Illinois to Perry D. and Corrine (Hoskins) Walker. She grew up in Quincy, IL attending Quincy High School. She held various jobs helping friends and family. Lynda met and married her first husband, Bernard J. Baker in Quincy and welcomed their son, Bernard Joseph Baker Jr., on April 21, 1979.
Lynda and Dan Richardson were married on June 9th, 1984. They co-owned DBL Formalwear. She was an active member of the Peace Lutheran church. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and spending time with her friends, family, and community in Connersville, Indiana.
She is survived by her husband Dan Richardson of Connersville, her brother Dan (Katie) Walker of Florida, her son Bernard (Sharon) Baker Jr, daughter-in-law Elizabeth/Betsy; and grandchildren Kathryn/Kae, Elizabeth/Bizzy, and Fitzpatrick/Fitz Baker of Indianapolis
Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Greg Walker, nephew John Walker, grandson Dexter Baker, and dearest friend Katherine/Kathy Serradell.
A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 701 W 3rd Street, Connersville, on Friday April 1, 2022 at 11:00am. Family and friends may gather from 10:00am to 11:00 am.
