Levi A. Miller

Age 86 of Alliance, passed away at his home on Friday, December 25, 2020. Levi was born of the Amish Faith in Millersburg, Ohio on May 26, 1934 to Ammon A and Elizabeth (Schlabaugh) Miller. Levi had a career in the meat packing industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, watching sports, and spending time with family & friends. He was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple for 60 years.

Levi is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ruby Miller of Alliance; one son, Timothy (Carol) Miller of South Royalton Vt.; three daughters, Dena Moore (the late Paul "Joe" Moore) of Alliance, Cynthia (Robert) Carpenter of Tucson Ariz., and Kristine (Walter) Paris of Limaville; nine grandchildren, Arthur (Katie) Chartier of Rutland Vt., Joseph (Devin) Moore of Wooster, Courtney (Joseph) Legros of Homeworth, Chelsea (Marc) Fagan of Alliance, Jordan Carpenter of Tucson, Ariz, Erin Carpenter of Tucson, Ariz., Nicholas Paris of Alliance, Adam Paris of Alliance, and Christian Paris of Limaville; eight great-grandchildren, Riley Mullet of Wooster, Jacob Moore of Wooster, Colton Legros of Homeworth, Jase Legros of Homeworth, Sabrina Chartier of Rutland, Vt., Jessica Chartier of Rutland, Vt., Wyatt Chartier of Rutland, Vt., and Brynnlee Fagan of Alliance; and a sister, Ada (Dan) Raber of Millersburg. In addition to his parents, Levi was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Henry; and his sisters, Sarah, Nancy, Anna, Lovina, and Abbie.

Funeral service will be held at the Canton Baptist Temple in the Henniger Ministry Center, 515 Whipple Avenue NW, Canton on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Rev Jake Tovissi of Canton Baptist Temple officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery (Louisville). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Canton Baptist Temple in the Henniger Ministry Center. All of the current face masks, social distancing, and building occupancy rules will be observed according to the Health Department guidelines. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canton Baptist Temple, 515 Whipple Avenue NW, Canton, OH 44708.
