Jane Conahey Adams, 71, of 35 W. Brown St., Port Norris, died Tuesday morning in Millville Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A lifelong Port Norris resident, she owned and operated Jane's Restaurant in Port Norris for 18 years before retiring 14 years ago.
She was a member and Sunday school teacher for the Port Norris United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Millville Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Adams; one son, Edward L. Adams, Sr., of Port Norris; two sisters, Beatrice Clark of Millville and Betty Cajac [sic] of West Point, N.Y., and three grandsons.
The Rev. L. Wayne Musgrove of the Port Norris United Methodist Church will conduct services from the Robert V. Hoffman Funeral Home, Port Norris, this Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Haleyville Cemetery. Friends may call Friday one hour prior to the service.
At the family's request, those desiring may make donations to the Millville Hospital Cancer Unit or the Port Norris United Methodist Church.
