Daughter of the late Walter and Ida Mae Miller Elkins. Helen was a dedicated member of Delilah United Methodist Church, Church Choir, Women's Circle, and the Homemaker's Club. She enjoyed planting flowers, a huge garden, sitting in her swing and watching the birds. She took special enjoyment in her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Shelby Brown an infant grandson Anthony Walker a granddaughter Kristi Walker five brothers Herbert Elkins, Edward Elkins, Pete Elkins, Arlie Elkins and Calvin Elkins two sisters Ruth Brown and Gladys Elkins a son-in-law Ernest Walker and a host of nieces, nephews, and brother and sister-in-laws.Daughter of Walter George Elkins, Sr. (1899-1965) & Ida Mae Miller-Elkins (1902-2001).
