Enjoyed Working The Election Polls In Catoosa County

Carolyn Miller Guthrie Eisenman of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away on March 8, 2022, after a battle with cancer.

She was retired from the Gwinnett County Elections Commission and was a member of The Church of the Nativity. She was a 1960 graduate of Jacksonville High School in North Carolina. She was active in the Rotary Club of Clearwater East in Florida for many years, before moving back to Georgia, to be with her family. She most recently enjoyed working the election polls for Catoosa County and volunteering for numerous community service opportunities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ducky and Emma Miller, and her husband, Bobby Eisenman. Survivors include her daughters, Terry (John) Wallace and Kathy (Mark) Thomas, their father, Bill Guthrie, brother Larry (Sherry) Miller, grandchildren, Nathan Churchwell, Courtney (Nathan) Phillips, Great Grandchildren, Carter and Ivy, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family with greet friends at Carolyn's remembrance gathering on Monday, March 28, from 5-8 p.m. at the Church of the Nativity on Cross St in Fort Oglethorpe. The graveside service will be on Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Church of the Nativity.
