George Williams, 75, of Marion passed away on Wednesday March 9, 2022 in Herrin Hospital at 1:45pm. He was born in Illinois to Raymond and Betty (Cooper) Williams. He loved to go to auctions and play pool. George is preceded in death by his wife Debbie, parents, brothers Bobby Williams, Andy Williams, and Noah Williams. He is survived by his daughters Tracy (DeDon) Blair, Becky Williams, and Sandy Williams; step-daughters Sylvia (Curtis) Sneed, Betsy (Gary) Angus and Raymond Bryant; step-sons Robert (April) Williams and Bubby (Bria) Williams; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Louise Williams and Carolyn Williams; brothers Ray (Sandy) Williams and Billy Joe (Lori) Williams, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2022 in the Union Funeral Home at 11:00am with Dr. Brett Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Denning Cemetery on the Orient Road.
