Carol Lynn Robison, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, March 14, 2022 at Robin's Nest in Mill Creek, IN. She was born on June 27, 1941 in South Bend, IN, to Billy Sam Hegg and Evelyn Ruth (Chichester) Hegg, both of whom preceded her in death.
On July 13, 1963 in South Bend, Carol married Donald Robison, Jr., who survives. In addition to her loving husband of 58 years, Carol is survived by her daughters, Lera (Mark) Jones of Chesapeake, VA, and Dana (Larry) Litwin of Buffalo Grove, IL; grandchildren, Caitlin (Nick) Lamprecht, Sarah (Holden Greenberg) Litwin, and Samuel Litwin; and brother, Larry (Mary Anne) Hegg of South Bend.
Carol was employed as a speech therapist and also served as director of the weekday preschool at Evangel Heights United Methodist Church. Carol was an active member of her church, assisting on several committees as well as the director for Sunshine Disability Ministries.
A memorial service for Carol will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, 114 N. Ironwood Drive, South Bend, IN. Pastor Michelle Cobb will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00-2:00 pm on Saturday at the church prior to the service. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
