William Bob Redbird 53 of Towaoc, CO went to his heavenly home on March 14, 2022. He was born Nov.7,1968 in Carnegie, OK to Robert L. Redbird and Joquetta Ann "Tanedooah" Redbird. Will was a full blooded tribal member of the Kiowa Tribe of OK.

He grew up in Anadarko, OK and Albuquerque, NM. Will attended Concho Indian school and Riverside Indian school where he graduated in 1986. He met the love of his life Tina Arrates and from that union they had 3 children together. After high-school, he resided in CO until he gained his wings. Will is from the Tanedooah, Redbird, and Hawzipta decedent's.

William was an artist known throughout the southwest. His artwork has been purchased by collectors from all over the world. Will followed in his father's footsteps, Robert L. Redbird Sr.

William was a firefighter for the Ute Mountain Ute Fire Department, Towaoc, Co. He was known for his great sense of humor, and he sure loved to talk . Will was a simple and humble man. Will loved playing his guitar, listening to music, playing horseshoe's and loved to cook. He was a loving and caring person who was always willing to go out of his way to help friends and family, especially his grandchildren. William will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his: father, Robert L. Redbird Sr.; mother Joquetta Ann (Tanedooah) Redbird; sister, Crystal Jo Redbird; grandmother, Violet (Hawzipta) Redbird; grandfather, Earnest (Emhee) Redbird; great grandfather William (Cornbread) Tanedooah; great grandmother, Bessie Enoeah Tanedooah
