Erma Irene Smith (born 7/7/1937), widow of Smitty (Donald R Smith) the love of her life. She passed away on October 2nd 2021 at Westley Homes of Des Moines, Washington. She went peacefully in her sleep after enduring a long battle with Alzheimer's as well as a cancer survivor.

She leaves behind a brother, sister and four children Valerie, Donna, Rick and Willie and countless grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Erma was very much loved by her Patterson side family as well as her Smith side of family.

She was always giving back to the Port Angeles community by volunteering and helping in any way she could. She was a well-known country musician(drummer) along with her husband (Smitty) and others who played in the Country Stings and the Country Express bands that performed regularly in Port Angeles and around the area. She was a long-time member of the Port Angeles Moose and the Port Angeles Eagles, holding offices in each of the chapters.

Originally from Missouri, she loved to spend her time reading, needle point, playing with her grandchildren, and drinking coffee (dubbed coffee grandma by her grandkids).
