Sandy earned her BA degree at Kent State and followed her passion for teaching kindergarten. She met her husband Lee at Kent State. They were married in 1961 and settled near Akron, OH. They had 3 wonderful children. In 1972 the family moved to Lake Worth. In 1996, they retired and moved to Ocklawaha, FL. Sandy was lovingly known as "GramGram" to her six grandchildren, Katharine and Jillian Miley, and Xavier, Zachary, Ethan, and Ashlyn Graham.
Sandy was especially gifted at paper crafts, making greeting cards, and documented all the family gathering through photography/scrapbooking. She had a love for camping/family time in the mountains, birds, and a special place in heart for her grandchildren.
A private service with close family and friends with close family and friends was held at Shady Rest cemetery in Holly Hill on 3/19/2022 where she and her husband will rest with their son Brian.
