Barbara A. Clark, age 82, of Grapeland passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in the Crockett Medical Center. Barbara was born January26, 1940 in Lufkin to parents, William Thomas Smith and Bessie Leona Thornton Smith. She graduated from Angelina College with a registered nursing degree in 1982 working many years in healthcare. Barbara was a Bible scholar also a scholar of Jewish History. She was the best Mom and Grandmother in the world and will be missed by her family who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by husband, Billy Van Clark; parents, W. T. and Bessie Smith; sisters, Gussie Legg, Maudie Gibson; brothers, Kirby Smith, Marcine Smith, T. A. Smith, Ellis Smith, Tommy Smith. Funeral services for Barbara A. Clark will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Maris officiating. Visitation will be from5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church
