William Randolph "Randy" Horner, 76, of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away March 10, 2022, at his home in Ocklawaha, Florida. He was the husband of Jacqueline "Jackie" Horner, his high school sweetheart, for 56 years. Their son, Joseph "Joey" Horner, was his pride and joy.

Randy was born in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late William and Lula Horner.

He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Viet Nam war. Prior to his retirement, he was a Security Officer at United Southern Bank for over 20 years.

Randy enjoyed fishing and their beautiful lake home in the Ocala National Forest. He was also an avid Florida Gator fan.

Randy is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Horner and his son Joseph Horner; stepmother, Ethel Horner and stepsister Laura Wisecarver; sister, Wilma Longfellow; granddaughters Rachel and Jordan Horner and three great-grandchilden; sister-in-laws Jenifer (Edward) LeVine and Jil Rankin and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Lula Horner; brother Bill Horner; sister Pat Wilcox; step-sister, Earlene Wilder.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview, FL 34420 on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 2pm with Military Honors by the Belleview VFW Post 8083. A luncheon will be served in the reception room at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services immediately following the service. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com
