Anna Lea Lloyd Spencer, 84, passed away January 2, 2008 surrounded by loved ones at her home.

She was born January 15, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Norman Lea and Annie Beatrice Jones Lloyd, the youngest of four children.

She married A. Glenn Spencer on November 15, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple and they spent 64 wonderful years together. Glenn and Anna Lea were the parents of six children: Glenn Lloyd Spencer (1945-), Norman Lloyd Spencer (1946-1984), Patricia Anne Spencer (1951-), Douglas Lloyd Spencer (1952-), Elizabeth Lea Spencer Konstad (1958-), and Sara Lea Spencer Bury (1963-).

Anna Lea was kind, generous, cheerful, loving and devoted to her family. She loved playing the piano, raising roses, gardening, board games, reading church books, and doing genealogy. As a daughter of the Utah Pioneers, she was very proud of her heritage. She was a graduate of UC Berkeley and majored in Interior Design. She was proud of her children's many accomplishments.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 15th Ward Chapel, 1457 West Atherton Drive (4375 South).
Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
