Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Francis K. and Doris M. (Bliven) O'Brien, she had lived in Westport for over 50 years. Prior to retirement, she was a bookkeeper for many years. Linda had a good sense of humor and was kind and loving. An accomplished seamstress, she also loved knitting and crocheting. Linda loved traveling, she was always looking forward to her next adventure. A lover of animals, she loved the company of the family dog Buddy Lee and her cats Abby and Amelia. She enjoyed spending time with Reedy, especially on the water where they made many memories aboard the Pintail. Above all, she was very fortunate to have her son Roger take such good care of her after Reedy passed away. Roger loved his mom very much and knows she will be watching over him.
