Elizabeth P. Fisher, 97, of Fairfax, VA peacefully passed away on March 8, 2022.

Elizabeth "Betty" grew up on a farm in Richmond, VA. She married in 1944 and focused on being an attentive wife and mother. After a few moves, the family settled in Fairfax, VA for the last 60 years of her life. After her children were grown, Betty worked in the office of Fairfax United Methodist Church for 20 years before retiring.

Her family was her life and she formed a special relationship with her special needs grandson Jeffrey. She is predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, William "Bill" Fisher.

She is survived by her children James Fisher, Judy Hollins and Catherine Scott; grandchildren Amy Laws and Jeffrey Hollins; and great grandchildren Brett, Garrett and Makenna.

Visitation is Sunday, March 20 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Rd. Fairfax, VA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 21 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Fairfax United Methodist Church 10300 Stratford Ave., Fairfax VA followed by a Graveside service at 2:00 PM at Fairfax Memorial Park, adjacent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to MACtown, Inc., home for Jeffrey in Miami, FL, would be welcomed. Donations may be mailed to Jim Fisher, 6216 Hidden Canyon Rd., Centreville, VA 20120.
