Husband of Mary Ann "Molly" Benson Finnigan (1859-1930). Called Edward, according to confirmation record at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, Refugio, TX. Raised in Lamar, Refugio Co, TX as oldest son of Patrick Finnigan/Finegan (b. Ireland c. 1822- d. Bastrop Co, TX c. 1878) and first wife Cynthia W. Isam/Isom/Isham. May actually have been Patrick's nephew, born William Edward Finnigan, son of Patrick's brother, Henry (1831-1861) and wife Rebecca Ann O'Farrell. After brother Henry's death, AL court probate records state that the son, William Edward, was taken to Texas by his grandmother (Patrick and Henry's mother), Catherine Finnigan.
Father of Albert L. Finnigan (# 36281268) buried in same cemetery.
