Cassandra accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Cannon Baptist Church in Gurdon, Arkansas. She attended Gurdon Public School System and graduated from high school with the class of 1983. She worked in various fields throughout the communities, at companies such as True Care Day Care in Little Rock, Pineview Nursing Home, Morris Automotive, Tyson Poultry, and finally Pettie Jean Poultry, where she worked as a QC (Quality Control).
Cassandra met and married Willie Young of Okolona, Arkansas, in May 1981, to this union two daughters were born, Kashonna and Jennifer. Her third and youngest daughter, Daz'meonte, was later born in the union of San and Cedric Crusoe.
San was always a "Social Butterfly". She was such a lively and amusing person and so much fun to be around. She was always surrounded by fun-loving family and friends. Her favorite activities were playing cards (Tunk or Spades), and dominoes, winning, and talking plenty of "smack." She was so good at dominoes, she could tell her opponents what they had left in their own hand, without seeing it. She also loved watching football and basketball games on television.
Cassandra transitioned from this life on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at her home in Gurdon. She was preceded in death by her dad, Vernell Gulley and brother, Terence Gulley.
