After graduating from what was then known as Doylestown High School, John began his military career in the United States Navy. Because of his love of aviation, he transferred to the United States Air Force where he was an air traffic controller serving during WORLD WAR II and the Korean War. After a long and successful career in the military , he began working at the Fort Washington branch of the United States Post Office where he was shop steward for many years. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed various recreational activities, particularly bowling and golf and was proud of his hole in one.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's visitation at St. Anthony Of Padua Roman Catholic Parish 259 Forest Ave, Ambler PA 19002 on March 16th, 2022 from 10:00am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. A military Interment will follow immediately at Hillside Cemetery.
