Amber is survived by her daughter, Magdalena Parsons of Fairmont; three siblings, Shane Scott, Fallon Scott and Jerimiah Scott; one nephew, JR Scott.
Amber was a sensitive soul that brought great joy to others. When her daughter was younger her favorite past time was doing activities with her and her friends. Her house was full of warmth, love and laughter. All that Amber was to the world was beauty.
Behind her smile that made her nose crinkle like a bunny, was an immense sadness. She suffered from depression and mental illness from a young age. Despite her daily struggles within, she strived to not succumb to them. Her good days waned as she grew older. Her light grew dimmer. It became harder to hide the despair she felt from others.
Amber began to self-medicate which further thrust her into the abyss of deep depression.
She failed to view her own worth and lost the fight to look for light.
The Lord took her home Wednesday to a place where's there's no self-hatred, no darkness, and filled with peace.
Those who love her are left behind wishing somehow, they could have saved her.
She made a video five years ago explaining her mental illness. In this video she stressed the importance of seeking help.
We hope something can be learned from her story and maybe, it saves someone's life.
