He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dorothy and Dan; brother, Bobby; and sister Judy.
His memory is carried onward by the love of his life and wife of 48 years, Rosemarie; son, Doni (and spouse, Christopher); daughter, Heather (and spouse Jason); and granddaughters, Kadence, Rileigh and Adeline; as well as his brother, Mac (and spouse Nora); many nieces and nephews and dear friends he "adopted" as family.
Many will remember him related to his time as a softball coach, participation in Kiwanis, the local Chambers of Commerce, The 40s Party and Les Cavaliers, his land clearing business CT Environmental and civil engineering and consulting work for Brown & Mitchell engineering and the Harrison County Development Commission; those who know him best will recall his fondness for chocolate chip cookies of all kinds, penchant for a good story or joke (especially when shared over a Coke Icee), strong work ethic, passion for his community and friends, love of a Smoky Mountain hike, infectious laugh and dedication to his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 18 March from 5-7pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
