Son of Samuel Edward and Pauline Jackson Loggins. He was a U.S. Army veteran. After his honorable discharge in 1965, he continued serving for six years in the Army Reserves. After leaving the Army, he was self-employed in the pulp wood business. He was proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie Cowart Loggins; and sister, Mozelle Smith Miller. Survivors include his four daughters, Sandra (Benny) Brown, Braselton, Carol (Greg) McDonald, Gwen (Jim) Venable - both of Jefferson, and Janice Strickland, Commerce; son, Kenneth Loggins, Jefferson; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
