GREGORY THOMAS MACFARLANE, AGE 59, PASSED AWAY ON DECEMBER 19, 2021
AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
Greg T. Macfarlane was born on November 26, 1962, to Carole Jean Graves and Thomas Logan Macfarlane, in Sioux City, Iowa. He had three younger siblings, Julie, Mark and Molly. He went to Hoover Jr. High, and graduated in 1981 from North High School.
Greg was a loving and devoted husband to Chastity Alexander MacFarlane for 22 years and was a great dad and papa.
Greg is survived by his wife Chastity, his dad Tom, and stepmom Lois, and 3 children: Patricia Johnston (Dustin), Deschaun Alexander (Gabrielle) and Darien Duquette. Greg has five beloved grand-babies that he adored: Remsey, Elease, & Claira Johnston, Oriana Alexander, and Sean Duquette. Greg is also survived by his siblings: Mark MacFarlane (Susan), Julie Albright (Tony) and Molly Brower (Steve) and his brother-in-law Geoffrey Alexander (Keri). Greg also has several nieces and nephews and great-nieces & great-nephews.
Greg's greatest joy came from spending time with his family (especially his grand-babies) and friends, traveling with his wife, fishing with his dad and brother, and playing the guitar.
Greg was preceded in death by his mom, Carole, his stepdad George "Andy" Andrew, and his sister-in-law Heather Alexander.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Sioux City, IA in the spring of 2022.
