Mrs. Caroline Barker, 62 years old, daughter of Daniel D. and Kate (Sensabaugh) Davies, 2526 East Thirty-eighth street died last night at the Lakeside Hospital. Married Rev John W. Barker, who died Oct 15, 1930. She leaves three sons, J. E. Barker of the home, E. D. Barker, St. Louis, W.W. Barker, Big Springs, Texas, a daughter, Mrs. L. B. Allen of the home, and three sisters, Mrs. F. J. Conroy and Mrs. John Griffth Asheville, N. C., and Mrs. Cora Cox, Cullowhee, North Carolina. (Kansas City Star, issue 13 Sept 1936.
