Bernard E. "Bernie" Will, 78, of Mt. Calvary, died Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls. He was born in St. Cloud on October 15, 1943, to Gregor and Leona (Enders) Will. On May 26, 1989, Bernie married Daphne D. "Dassy" Hansen in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on November 30, 2020.

Bernie worked for Wells Manufacturing, then went to Indiana, becoming a supervisor for the Pierce Company. Later he returned to Fond du Lac, working for Wells and then for Sargento Foods in Plymouth, where he was a process technician for sixteen years before retiring in 2006. Bernie enjoyed his retirement as he loved horses, fishing, and hunting as well as watching westerns with Dassy. In addition, he enjoyed watching birds and other animals wandering around. Bernie liked driving his 4-wheeler and "putzing" in the yard and garage.

Survivors include four children, Tammy Will, Buddy "Bernie, Jr." (Roberta) Will, Marshal (Linda) Will, and Greg (Hope) Will; eight grandchildren, Hunter, Trevor, Cassie, Zack, Austin, Bartleby, Killian, and Ridley. He is further survived by four stepchildren, Debbie, Jason, Becky, and Erica; eight step-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; a sister, Myrtle Henschel; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Cynthia Will; sister, JoAnne (Elroy) Koeser; and brother-in-law, Herbie Henschel.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held, beginning at 2:00 PM. Cremation will follow the service. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, in Mt. Calvary, will be held at a later date.

Services are in the care of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
