Gary Dennis Cooper, 69, of Sheyenne, ND, died Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Lakota, ND.

Gary Dennis Cooper was born December 9, 1952, to Vernon and Bertha (Petersohn) Cooper in Fargo, ND. He attended school in New Rockford and then later served in the US Air Force. He has had many jobs over the years, recently being with Pforr Construction. Gary enjoyed thrift store shopping and could never pass up a good rummage sale. He loved driving his scooter with the grandkids and lounging around with Simba the cat. He was a regular at bingo on Saturdays, but just for the kuchen. Gary never left home without his kazoo in case there was a chance to play "Happy Birthday" for someone.

Gary is survived by his wife Jodi; two daughters, Samantha and April (Chris); two grandchildren, June and Cooper; one sister, Marilyn Schneider; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Bertha; and his brothers, Roger and George.
