In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Newton; step-father, Harry St. Clair; sister, Becky Brock. Prior to becoming disabled, Mrs. Newton was a Realtor for West Realty. She was a member of East Ellijay Baptist Church.
