Mr. Roy E. Stroeher of Fredericksburg passed away on Saturday, March 12th at the age of 92 years.
Roy Edgar Stroeher was born on September 6th,1929 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Edgar and Elsie Eckhardt Stroeher
He married Annabel Lochte on June 22nd,1952 in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, Texas
Roy is survived by two daughters, two sons and spouses: Jan and Benno Engel of New Braunfels, Mark and Susan Stroeher of Fredericksburg, Edward Stroeher of Fredericksburg, Susie and Darren Smith of Boerne
Three grandchildren: Ashley Engel, Taylor and Cody Lancaster and Tanner Smith
Sister and spouse: Betty and Rudy Olfers of Fredericksburg
Niece: Cindy and Stephen Clegg, Nephews: Steve and Lisa Olfers and Charles and Kelli Olfers
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife
The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 17th from 3:30 to 7 P.M. and on Friday, March 18th from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg with the Funeral Service at 1 P.M.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Der Stadt Friedhof
Honorary pallbearers are the employees of the Stroeher & Son/ Stroeher's and Olfers and the Fredericksburg V.F.D.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in his memory to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg V.F.D., Hill Country Memorial Hospital, Nimitz Foundation or to the charity of your choice
