Patricia Louise Thompson Moore passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 8, 2022. Her warm smile and caring nature nurtured a rich family legacy that will last generations.

Pat was born in Sweetwater, Texas, the only daughter of Tommy and Texas Marguerite Couch Thompson. She had a happy childhood, and they frequently moved due to her father's career in law enforcement.

Pat met the man who would become the love of her life, Ralph Moore, in 1963 at a party of a mutual friend. He proposed to Pat on Valentine's Day, and they were married at The Church of Christ in Euless, Texas, on March 13,1965. They started their journey together in Euless until Ralph was deployed with the Air Force to Alaska during the Vietnam War. Pat was seven months pregnant with their first child when Ralph left for Alaska. He came home to a ten-month old baby girl. Pat and Ralph were blessed with their second child, a son, three years later.

In 1973 Pat and Ralph packed up their young family and moved to Higden, Arkansas. Pat enjoyed being a homemaker when her children were growing up. Her hobbies included crafting of any kind; she was a talented seamstress and enjoyed painting. She took painting lessons with her son and their paintings hang in their homes.

When her children were growing up, she was happiest when the house was filled with kids. She loved cooking for a house full and planning elaborate birthday and Halloween parties.

After her kids were teenagers, Pat began a 30-year career in banking. She started as a teller and worked her way to branch manager. Her customers and co-workers loved and respected her immensely. She was awarded employee of the year in 2005 by the Heber Springs State Bank.

As the grandchildren came along, her new passion became scrapbooking. This new hobby brought her so much joy as she was able to reminisce over pictures of ball games, trips, and family gatherings. She and Ralph spent many hours traveling all over to watch ball games and activities of all five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Pat's greatest joys were her kids and grandkids. She always put them before herself.

Pat Moore loved the Lord, and it showed in her everyday life. Pat was an active member of the Higden Church of Christ for 50 years. She was a faithful servant of the Lord throughout her life and will be well received in Heaven. Her body will be laid to rest at Higden-McLehaney Cemetery.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Texas Marguerite Couch Thompson and Tommy Thompson. Her father-in-law Oliver Moore, mother-in-law Valeen Moore, and brother-in-law Bobby G Moore.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Ralph Moore.
