Emanuel "Manny" Langolf, 86, of Port Huron Township, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008.
He was born April 29, 1921 in Port Huron to the late Gottlieb and Dorothea Langolf. He married Pauline Scheeler on November 15, 1941 in Port Huron.
Mr. Langolf was employed with Mueller Brass for 42 years until his retirement in 1982.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Manny was a longtime active member of St. John's United Church of Christ where he served on the Church Council, taught Sunday School and belonged to the Men's Brotherhood. He was also a Past Master of Port Huron Lodge # 58 F. & A.M. and a member of Charles Hammond American Legion Post #8.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; six children, Diane (Stanley) Hatfield of Crete, Illinois, Francine (Richard) Gutowski of Fort Gratiot, Monica (Robert) Stiglich of Oakdale, Minnesota, Rebecca (Roy Peter) Summerer of Port Huron, Melissa (Thomas) MacLean of Port Huron and Emanuel Phillip Langolf of Gallantin, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy MacDonald of Naples, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Langolf and a sister, Theresa Miller.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2008 in St. John's United Church of Christ. The Reverend William Terry will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
