ANNETTE H ROBINSON
Annette (Hendrix) Robinson, 83, passed away peacefully in her Worcester, PA home on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
Born May 4, 1939 in Claremont, FL, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Walker and Howard Hendrix.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, John Robinson; sons Jay and Jeffrey Robinson; daughter-in law, Stephanie Robinson; and three grandchildren, Simone, Bianca and Wes Robinson.
Annette was predeceased by her son, John John.
When Annette's 3 boys were young, the title 'Stay At Home Mom' didn't exist. It was usual for women to stay home with the children while the husband worked. But even by the standards of the era, Annette was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her friends and family and was known for her amazing cooking skills and generosity. Everyone loved her amazing chicken salad! She would welcome anyone in her home and loved to entertain. She was an avid tennis fan and she never missed a tournament on TV.
She was a fiercely devoted Nona to her three grandchildren and had amazing relationships with them. She often invited their friends over to spend time in her home so she could cook for them.
Services will be held at the residence of Jeff and Stephanie Robinson in Collegeville on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a private family luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Indian Creek Foundation in Harleysville, PA where John John was a resident.
Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
