MRS. SAVAGE DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS
Mrs. Eva M (nee Barlett) Savage, 75, of 209 Fourth Street, Scotia, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital after a short illness.
Born in East Galway, she had been a life long resident of this area, Mrs. Savage was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Senior Citizens, Schenectady County Women's Republican Cub, Scotia Glenville God and Silver Club, and the Glendale Home Auxiliary.
She was the widow of John E Savage. Survivors include three sons, Charles A Savage of Fort Worth, Texas, James B Savage of Staten Island and John E Savage Jr. of Schenectady; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wieser of Middletown, NY and Mrs. Merrill Smith of Glens Falls.
Eight grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at the Ellis Funeral Home at 10 am, Wednesday, Rev. Dow S Clute pastor of Trinity Methodist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Memory Garden. The funeral home will be open after 7pm tomorrow.
