Ron was a native of Boston, MA, was a proud graduate of Boston Latin School and the Colorado School of Mines. Employed by Chevron Oil, Ron retired after almost three decades.Ron loved science and nature. An avid birder, he assisted in the annual wild bird counts across Texas, New Mexico and across the Mexican Border.
He characterized strength of character and the strongest will of anyone I've ever known.
Ron is survived by his wife: Mary Serio Anderson; 2 children: Eric Anderson (Cecelia), and Susan Sweat (David), 7 grandchildren; Corbin and Dylan Anderson, Preston and Dustin MacLaughlin, Sierra, Franco Guifarro, Savannah and David Sweat, 1 great grandchild: Madison Guifarro.
1 sister: Linda Brown (Walter), 4 sisters-in-law: Mary Anderson, Catherine Lambert, Patricia Matthews, Eunice Serio; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and friends.
