Alfred Cox York, 81, a former Stockton resident, died Wednesday at a La Junta, Colo., hospital following a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys, Stockton; a son, Alfred K., Rocky Ford, Colo.; and two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Phillips, Rocky Ford, and Mrs. Shirley Pace, Fairfield, Calif.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Lindley Prairie Chapel, with burial in the church cemetery under direction of Cantlon of Stockton.
