Randy graduated from Elkhart High School and joined the United States Airforce. He served for several years before being honorably discharged and returning home. He made a career working in the oilfield and retired after many years of dedicated service.
Randy was a loving family man who was deeply adored by all his children. He treasured his family and all the memories that they made. Randy was an avid baseball player, coach, and fan. He truly loved the sport. As he aged, he enjoyed going to the ballpark and watching his children and grandchildren play ball. Randy had a passion for music and collected old vinyl records. Hunting, fishing, giving people a hard time, and spending time outdoors were also pastimes that Randy enjoyed. We rejoice because he is now in the presence of our loving Lord and Savior and are thankful for the beautiful memories that we will hold onto forever.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Attaway and Weeksie Hudson, and his beloved wife Lista Sue Dailey Attaway, who passed away in 2017.
