Mary Fay Pressnell, 92, of Hixson, died on Monday, December 1, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was a member of Hixson Church of God and was the wife of the late Rev. Henry C. Pressnell. She was also preceded in death by her son, William (Buddy) Pressnell, three sisters, Ethel Hess, Cassie Stewart and Elsie Pressnell, and one brother George Brooks.
The family would like to thank everyone from Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care and support.
Survivors are her two daughters, one son, a daughter-in-law, 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dean, Rev. Mitch Corder and Rev. James Helton officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1-9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
