He was a member of Washington Branch Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Deacon Board.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife; Maggie Noble of the home, two sons; Sammy Williams of Philadelphia, PA, David Ray Jones of Raleigh, NC, five daughters; Rosa Bullock of Fayetteville, GA, Janice Wiliams of Pinetops, NC, Sandra Noble of the home, Phyllis Waller of Tarboro, NC, Mary Newkirk of Wilson, NC, three brothers; Alex Noble, Roosevelt Noble both of Princeville, NC, Clyde Noble of Kinston, NC, four sisters; Maggie Lyons of Tarboro, NC, Gladys Johnson of Washington, NC, Queen Battle, Ida Dickens both of Pinetops, NC, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Public viewing on Monday January 24, 2022, 11:00 AM at Washington Branch Missionary Baptist Church.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Washington Branch Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Robert Williams, officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
Services are entrusted to Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Inc., of Tarboro.
