Sally M. Nelson, age 59 of Amberg, WI passed away in peace on February 28, 2022 at Aurora Hospital in Green Bay, WI after a short battle with cancer. Sally was born August 25, 1963 to Roman and Marie Werner and she lived in the Amberg area all of her life.
She married John Nelson on April 18, 2009.
Sally was a very hard worker and her personality and heart was one of a kind.
She and her husband owned Sally and JC's Northwoods Bar for the past seven years. A great little tavern in the "Northwoods". Sally enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She always said "If I knew they were this much fun, I would have had them first."
Sally is survived by her husband John;
three daughters: Samantha Smiley (Jim Hofacker), Sadie Smiley and Stephanie Smiley;
six grandchildren: Ryan Ehlert, Sparrow, Katelyn, Jessica and Lilly Luccarini and Rachel Smiley-James;
two brothers: Bill (Marty) Werner and Rodney (Cassandra) Werner.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roman and Marie Werner and an infant granddaughter Lane Ehlert.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
