Sherry Sue Ryles Young was born in Paragould, AR on July 15, 1949. Sherry passed away at home on March 9, 2022, surrounded by family.
She worked for St. Vincent Hospital as a financial counselor for 30 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie, of 30 plus years and her parents, Daniel and Margaret ''Sue'' Ryles.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Hays and husband Bill of Benton, LA; two granddaughters, Courtney and Cami Hays; brother, Butch Smith and wife Jerrie of Palm Harbor, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly.
Serving as pallbearers are Bill Hays, Michael Nelson, Shayne Nugent, Tiger Nelson, Jon Hays, Darryl Stephenson, and Daniel Stewart. Honorary pallbearers are David Harris and Milton Hays.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Rd., Benton, AR. Visitation will be Monday, March 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, AR.
