Martha was preceded in death by her brother, Weldon (Pat) Lee.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan Whittington of Little Rock, son, Andy (Carla) Whittington of Rogers, Arkansas, and two granddaughters, Lily and Lucy, of Rogers and her cat, Peppermint, also of Rogers.
Martha grew up in Little Rock, graduated from Central High school, and received her RN degree from the Baptist School of Nursing. She had a very successful and gratifying career in psychiatric nursing at the Arkansas State Hospital. She enjoyed many nights of Spades and Hearts with her patients. Later in life, she enjoyed conversations with her grown children about Jesus and the old days of nursing.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 17th, at the Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock starting at 10 am. The services will be officiated by her nephew, Donny Lee.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the FSBC Food Closet, 601 South Reynolds Road, Bryant, Arkansas, 72022.
