Mrs. Joyce Ann Day Hamm, age 74 of Fleetwood, NC died on Monday, July 17, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Hamm was born on May 29, 1943 in Springfield, Virginia to Kirby Franklin and Juanita Ladd Day. Mrs. Hamm was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Jane Beverly, son, Billy Jack Maine, grandson, Robert Miller, Sr., and niece, Sharon Eyvon Beverly. Mrs. Hamm enjoyed raising dogs and riding horses. She enjoyed spending time with her animals, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Brother Anthony Roark and Minister David Lyalls. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hamm is survived by: Husband, Earl Dean Hamm, Son, David Miller of Lansing, Daughter, Cindy (Robert) Price of Creston, Brother, Kirby Franklin Day of Fredericksburg, Virginia, daughter in-law, Melissa Maine of Damacus, Virginia, five grandchildren, Amanda May, Michael Miller, Pamela Jones, David Miller, Jr., and Ben Miller, ten great-grandchildren, Haylee May, Heather May, Daniel May, Cody Medley, Dalton Jones, Addison Jones, Rachael Miller, Jacob Miller, Kaden Miller, and Robbie Miller, Jr.; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
