Brenda Kay Willis Bryant, age 74, of Albany, Georgia, passed away at her residence on Thursday, March 10, 2022, from complications due to Alzheimer's Disease. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Albany. Dr. William E. "Butch" Knight will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens.

Brenda was born on September 27, 1947, in Albany; the ninth of ten children to Warnell and Ola Mae Nobles Willis. She grew up in Albany where she met and married the love of her life in 1968, Sgt. John Alton Bryant (USMC) of Jasper, AL. They traveled the world together and shared in many adventures, including the adventure of having two children, Angela and John.

Brenda has not only faithfully served her church families at each duty station but has also served as an executive secretary in many areas of business. Among those positions were secretary to the president of Hawaii Pacific College, secretary to the president of Sysco Foods Corporation South in Jacksonville, Florida, secretary to the president of Albany/Dougherty County Chamber of Commerce, and secretary to the president of Albany Technical College.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mildred Stewart, Nadine Farmer, and Doris Croyle. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Alton Bryant; her children, Angela Rivers (Jeff) and John Jr. (Alexandra); four grandchildren, Bryant Rivers, Krystal Serrano-Rivera, Veronica Napky, and Katelyn Bryant; six siblings, Reba Stewart, Retha Stewart, James Warren "JW" Willis (Judy), John "Harvey" Willis (Twila), Linda McDaniel, Sherman Willis (Jean); and a host of nieces and nephews.
